Breckenridge Colorado – The arrival of the the 2014 ski season has arrived. Today I went for a brisk walk (15 °F), (9.4 °C) in Breckenridge and after several days of the arrival of new fresh power on the slopes, I was able to enjoy clear blue skies and the beautiful scenery this incredible Colorado mountain town offers. I managed to be fortunate enough to capture this image. The sun peaks through the tall evergreen trees that line the Blue River which rolls through the middle of Breckenridge in places. Earlier I observed a young man casting his pole off the pedestrian bridge at his chance for a rainbow or cut throat trout that is prominent in these gold medal waters. Directly behind me is the Snowflake lift which gives skiers and snowboarders alike a ride to the top of Peak Eight.
